Chapter 2 Slayer's NightmaresMaria sat on her bed wondering what to do. Despite the fact that Akashi seemed sweet natured and kind, he still seemed dangerous. Well of course he’s dangerous, she thought, he’s the Slayer of Kesh. Nobody in their right minds would say he’s completely harmless. She sighed and laid back her auburn hair spread across the pillow like a fan. She didn’t know what to do. She had nothing except the Slayer and Mikai. She got up and walked over to the door leading to the room where Akashi and Mikai were staying. She stayed there for a minute wondering whether she should go in or not and then decided to go in. Chapter 1. The Slayer of KeshMaria ran down the street as fast as she could dodging through people and periodically looking back at her pursuers. What have I done? she wondered as she turned a corner. I didn’t steal anything, I hadn’t really done anything to deserve this. So why are they chasing me? She kept running hoping they would stop pursuing her, or she’d lose them, but deep down inside she knew that would never happen. Her pursuers were the Emperor's guard, and they never quit.
